Prof. Jimoh obtained B.Sc, M.Ed and a Ph.D, in Industrial Technical Education from University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He is presently a Professor of Technology and Vocational Education, in the University of Lagos, Nigeria where he teaches research methods, Automechanics, and Metalwork, as well as many other technology education courses. His interests are teaching and learning technology, and the use of research to improve the quality of teaching and learning.

His most recent research work has been in the areas of entrepreneurship education, school-industry partnership, gender issues in TVET, curriculum studies/instructional design, technology and policies in TVET as well as use of instructional technology and e-learning to teach knowledge and skills needed for 21st century job market. He is a scholar and a consultant with broad experiences in Technology and Vocational Education. As a consultant, Dr. Jimoh had served on different training and capacity building for technology education teachers.

During his undergraduate programmeat the University of Nigeria, he won an award as the Best Graduating Student in the Department of Vocational Teacher Education in 1998. He also won Fafunwa Educational Foundation Award for the Best Doctoral thesis in 2010. Dr. Jimoh, unhidden brilliance took him to University of South Africa, Pretoria, South Africa, in 2012 for a one year Postdoctoral Fellowship programme. To his credit, he had published research articles in both local and international journals.
