Personal Statement
I am a Professor and consultant in Early Childhood and Care Education in the University of Lagos, Nigeria. I joined the services of the University of Lagos, Akoka in 2011 and was privileged to be one of the scholars that started Early Childhood Education in the Institution. I have successfully supervised ten Ph.D. students and presently the head of department of Social Sciences Education, Faculty of Education, University of Lagos. I have presented papers at national and International Conferences. I also belong to several professional bodies and have received numerous distinctions and awards. My research interest covers Education of Orphans and Vulnerable children, Girl-child education as well as out of school children. My goal is to proffer solution to educational problems faced by children from low socio-economic background, orphans and out of school children by collaborating with colleagues both in and outside Nigeria.
