Professor Moses Ikebe Odo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Technology and Vocational Education, Faculty of Education, University of Lagos, Nigeria, where he has been in academic service since 2010, rising progressively from Lecturer II through Senior Lecturer to his current rank of Associate Professor (2019).

He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Technical Education — Electricity/Electronics (2006), an M.Ed. in Industrial Technical Education — Electricity/Electronics (1999), and a B.Sc. in Industrial Technical Education — Electricity/Electronics (1992), all from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, as well as an NCE (Technical) in Electricity/Electronics from the Federal College of Education, Pankshin, Plateau State (1989).

Prior to joining the University of Lagos, he served in various administrative and educational roles — including Head of Electrical Department at the Katsina State Science and Technology Education Board, College Maintenance Officer at the Post-Primary School Management Board in Enugu State, and multiple administrative positions at the Federal Science and Technical College, Ohanso, Abia State. His research interests cover electrical/electronicstechnology education, quality assurance in technical and vocational education, entrepreneurial competencies, online learning, curriculum development, and manpower development.

He has published extensively in both national and international peer-reviewed journals — including publications in Malaysia, Cameroon, Ghana, Gambia, and Yogyakarta (Indonesia) — and has contributed three book chapters to edited volumes published in Nigeria. He has presented papers at international conferences, including the Africa Federation of Teaching Regulatory Conference in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (2019), the West Africa Education Conference in Abuja (2018), and the Sixth Institute of Education International Conference at the University of Ibadan (2018).

He serves as an elected Senate Member of the University of Lagos, peer reviewer for multiple academic journals, external assessor for staff promotion at the Federal College of Education (Technical), Akoka, and examiner for both the National Examination Council and JUPEB, and has supervised over 81 undergraduate students, 9 Master’s students, and 3 Ph.D. candidates.
