Dr. Oyeyemi Ololade Aitokheuhi

Personal Statement

Dr. Oyeyemi Aitokhuehi started her career at an advertising firm, worked at a bank, and later moved to the education sector.

She is presently an Associate Professor of Continuing Education and Workforce Development in the Department of Adult Education. Her research interests include Continuing Education, Workforce Development, Programme Planning, Research, and Statistics at the University of Lagos, Nigeria.

She has taught in the Department of Adult Education since 2010 and has supervised 65 undergraduate projects, 28 postgraduate projects, and 2 PhD candidates; several others are ongoing.

She possesses the Training of Trainers (TOT) certificate for the FIATA Diploma in Freight Forwarding and Supply Chain Management and the Training of Trainers (TOT) for the FIATA Higher Diploma in Supply Chain Management.

Her participation in the Adult Education Academy expanded her exposure to comparative Adult Education systems across Europe, Africa, and Asia. The benefits include new global collaborative relationships, stronger research outputs and academic prestige, to mention a few.

She has published articles in peer-reviewed journals, both internationally and nationally. She has authored chapters in refereed books. She is a co-editor of a book titled Contemporary Issues in Education and Learning, published by the University of Lagos Press and Bookshop Ltd. She serves on the Editorial Boards of distinguished journals and reviews for other journals nationally and internationally.
