Dr. Omolabake T. Ojo

I am a Senior Lecturer in the department of science education, with a passion for advancing students’ understanding of science in general, and chemistry in particular at all levels of education. My research studies focus on science pedagogy, integration of ICT in Science education, implementation of innovative student-centred pedagogies, skills acquisition in science, teacher education, curriculum studies and gender. My goal is to make science easy to learn, accessible at all levels and relevant to everyday life thereby improving both the enrolment and performance in science subjects and science related careers. This, i pursue through developing scientific research in innovative strategies, educating students at all levels of education as well as training in-service science teachers in workshops and seminars.
