Personal Statement
I am an early-career researcher in the field of Guidance and Counselling with a growing interest in the evolving needs of adolescents and the application of innovative methods in teaching and learning. My academic and professional journey is driven by a deep commitment to understanding the psychological, emotional, and social challenges faced by young people, particularly in school environments. My research focuses on adolescent counselling, with a view to applying evidence-based interventions that support their mental health, academic achievement, and overall well-being. I am also passionate about exploring creative and technology-enhanced approaches to teaching that foster engagement and deepen learning, especially in the training of future counsellors. Through my research, I aim to contribute to the development of effective guidance practices and educational strategies that are responsive to the changing dynamics of today’s learners. I am open to interdisciplinary collaborations and eager to engage in projects that translate theory into impactful practice in schools and communities.
