Professor Ogunsemore, Macpherson Akindele is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education, Faculty of Education, University of Lagos.

A full Professor of Sports Administration and Management with special interest in grassroots and community sports development with emphasis on talent detection, identification and maximization.

Professor Ogunsemore Macpherson Akindele has many years of teaching experience with twenty [20] years of cognate University lecturing experience, research and community service.

His area of expertise is in grassroot sports and community sports development, Human Capacity and Material Resources Development. Organisational Climate and goals attainment.

He served as a cohort adviser, University Soccer Coach, Member Faculty of Education Publication Committee, Member NUGA Scientific Committee 2022, Member FASU Scientific Committeee, 2024, The current Secretary General, Nigeria Society for Sports Management [NSSM], Managing Editor Departmental Academic Journal [JORCIHKHE] and the Departmental Postgraduate Coordinator since 2021 till date. Member Admission Committee of School of Postdraduate Studies, University of Lagos.

He is a seasoned sports administrator, sports consultant, educationist and has taught at various level of education. An advocate of Volunteering in Mega Sports Events since year 2000.

He has supervised and graduated Four (4) Ph.D candidates and Twenty-Four 24 Master Degree holders with specialization in Sports Administration and Management.
