Dr. Yusuff Olatunji Adio is a Lecturer in the Department of Social Sciences Education, University of Lagos, Akoka, Nigeria.

He holds a Ph.D. in Economics Education, M.Ed. and B.Sc./Ed. in Economics from the University of Lagos and NCE (Economics/Accounting) from Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education (Now Lagos State University of Education), Otto-Ijanikin, Lagos. 

He also has an International Certificate in Occupational Health, Safety and Project Management. He is a teaching and research professional with experience in teaching of Economics/Economics education courses, entrepreneurship education, research and business-related courses. 

Dr. Adio has skills and experience in adoption of digital technologies (including Artificial Intelligence) for teaching and learning. He has advanced knowledge and skills in research design, data collection, data analysis, research reporting, curriculum design/development and implementation/evaluation, and stakeholders’ engagement. 

His research interests include Economics education, curriculum implementation and evaluation, Entrepreneurship education and quantitative Economics. He has published several articles in reputable journals and has participated in several academic conferences. 

He is a member of professional associations such as the International Association for Economics Educators (IAFEE), Educational Research Network for West and Central Africa (ERNWACA), Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) among others. 

He has facilitated leadership and management capacity building programmes organised by the Lagos State government and human capital development programmes/workshops/seminars organised by private organisations in Nigeria.
