Dr. Stella Chinwe Anyama had her early education in Onitsha, Anambra state. She had her tertiary education at the Faculty of Education, University of Lagos where she obtained B.A(Ed) French, M.Ed Guidance and Counselling and Ph.D. in Guidance and Counselling. Her areas of expertise and research interest are Adolescence psychology, Mental health counselling, family and marital counselling, gender issues, special needs and multicultural counselling. She has published in many reputable journals both nationally and internationally and has presented papers at national and international conferences. She is teaching and supervising projects of both undergraduate and postgraduate students. She serves as course advisor to undergraduates and served as Post graduate Coordinator in the Department of Educational Foundations. She is a board member of School of Post Graduate Studies, University of Lagos and some reputable organizations. Dr. Stella Chinwe Anyama is the Coordinator of Teaching Practice in the Faculty of Education, University of Lagos. She is a member of several committees within and outside the university. She belongs to many Professional Associations such as: Counselling Association of Nigeria, Association of Professional Counsellors of Nigeria, American Counselling Association, Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists in Africa, Organization of Women in Science for the Developing World, Forum for African Women Educationalists, among others. Dr. Stella Chinwe Anyama has a deep-seated passion for research, counselling and quality education at all levels. She is happily married and blessed with children.
