Personal Statement
Dr Ajibola Gbenga Samson began his academic journey at Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, where he earned his National Certificate in Education (NCE) with distinction in 2002.
He proceeded to the University of Benin, obtaining a B.Sc. (Ed.) in Physical and Health Education with Second Class Upper Division in 2006.
He further advanced his studies at the University of Lagos, Akoka, where he earned his M.Ed. in Sports Administration and Management in 2010 and his PhD in the same field in 2016.
Dr Ajibola was employed as Lecturer II at the University of Lagos in 2019 and currently serves as Lecturer I in the Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education. His teaching experience spans across diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels, covering diverse courses such as sports psychology, sociology of sports, coaching and officiating, and athletic events.
He has also lectured part-time at the Institute of Security Management, University of Lagos.
