Prof. Uchenna Nkiruka Udeani

Since obtaining my Ph.D. in 1992, I developed interest in the conceptual learning of science by students especially girls and this passion led me to develop a gender inclusive instructional strategy to help more girls learn science. I have also worked on an Affirmative Action Project aimed at improving girls’ attitudes and achievement in science. I believe that girls can aspire and achieve as much as their male peers in STEM disciplines if the playing field is level.
