Personal Statement

Anike Odusanya is presently a Lecturer 2 in the Department of Adult Education (with specialisation in Apprenticeship Training System and Manpower Training and Development) at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She graduated from the Federal College of Education (Technical), Akoka, with an NCE in Accounting Education. She holds a B.A. (Ed) and an M.A. (Ed) in Adult and Lifelong Education, earned in 2015 and 2018, respectively. She also earned her Ph.D in 2022. Her diverse contributions in training, teaching, research, community service, programme planning, public awareness campaigns, fieldwork, teaching practice assessment, and internship supervision demonstrate her dedication and impact in her field, fostering respect and admiration.

Being a seasoned Adult Educator has made her passionate about facilitating Adult learning and enlisting young undergraduates to become professional Adult facilitators. Anike Odusanya became an alumnus at Julius-Maximilian University of Würzburg, Germany, after completing a 6-month ERASMUS scholarship at the institution in 2021,The scholarship which was worth a total of 5100 euros stipend for her accommodation and feeding in Würzburg ,Germany. Her international experience highlights her commitment to global collaboration and academic excellence, which can inspire trust among potential collaborators.

She is a member of the Nigerian National Council for Adult Education (NNCAE, the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), and the Adult Education Academy (Germany).
