Prof. Toyin Eunice Owoyemi is a distinguished scholar in Chemistry Education, holding a PhD from the University of Ibadan (2010). Her academic work sits at the intersection of Sustainable Chemistry Education, Teacher Education, Curriculum Studies, and 21st-century skills development, areas that reflect her commitment to building future-ready learners and educators. With over 50 peer-reviewed publications to her name, Prof. Owoyemi is a prolific contributor to educational research in Nigeria and beyond. She currently serves as Principal Investigator on a TETFUND-funded UNILAG CRC research project examining students’ environmental literacy and sustainable education practices in science at primary and secondary schools across Lagos State. She is also a co-researcher on a TETFUND-funded national study evaluating the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Programme and its broader impact on university education in Nigeria.
