ANYIKWA Blessing Egbichi is a Professor of Adult Basic Literacy Education and Non-Formal Education in the Department of Adult Education.

She has served diligently the University in different administrative capacities: Departmental and Faculty coordinator of B.Ed., M.Ed. and Ph.D. Programmes; member, University Undergraduate Admission Committee; Deputy-Dean of Student Affairs, Chairman, University matriculation and orientation committee; Chairman Department Accreditation committee; Chairman-University Price Monitoring and Quality Control Committee; Co-ordinator, UNILAG/Professors without borders.

She has served as External examiner and consultant to several universities, institutions and organisations.

She has served as consultant to many national and international organizations (UNICEF, UNESCO,WORLD BANK, NMEC, ETC)
