Dr. Omolabake T. Ojo is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Science Education, University of Lagos. She obtained her Ph.D. in Education (Chemistry) from the University of Lagos in 2017.

She is passionate about advancing students’ understanding of science in general and chemistry in particular at all levels of education. Her research interests include science pedagogy, integration of ICT in science education, implementation of innovative student-centred pedagogies, skills acquisition in science, teacher education, curriculum studies, and gender issues in science education.

Her goal is to make science easy to learn, accessible at all levels, and relevant to everyday life, thereby improving enrolment and performance in science subjects and science-related careers. She pursues this through research on innovative teaching strategies, educating students across educational levels, and training in-service science teachers through workshops and seminars. Dr. Ojo has published over 30 articles in reputable national and international journals.
