Miss Bibire Nurat Badmus

I am a dedicated information professional and interdisciplinary early career researcher keen to advancing United Nation Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With a foundation in Library and Information Science, my work explores the environmental sustainability, emerging technologies and quality services delivery within the context of libraries and information centres. I am committed to reimagining libraries into vibrant spaces that preserve, promote and share knowledge while integrating eco-friendly behaviours and digital inclusion. Currently, I am exploring ways to integrate environmental literacy, sustainable practices, and smart technologies to enhance library services while minimizing environmental impact. Through research, I aim to advocate and sensitize librarians and patrons, and develop tech-enabled solutions that transform library services thrive in a knowledge-driven, environmentally conscious world.
