As a seasoned Counselling Psychologist with over 10 years of experience, I've developed expertise in educational, marital, and livelihood counselling, utilizing social learning and cognitive-behavioural therapy. My research focuses on mental models, values clarification, gender issues, environmental influences, and personality development in Nigerian school children. My goal is to empower youths and adolescents to navigate life's challenges, prioritizing, career development, personal growth, mental well-being, and overall quality of life. This involves providing counselling, therapy, and support to address issues like delinquency, truancy, academic difficulties, and vocational challenges. In order to achieve this, I believe in collaborative efforts within and beyond academia, fostering interdisciplinary approaches with like-minded individuals in Nigerian and foreign universities."
