Grace Olapeju Otinwa is a Professor of Exercise Physiology in the Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education, University of Lagos.

However, she is currently a visiting professor at the Lagos State University of Education (LASUED).

She has 36 years of teaching and leadership experience in higher education of which 30 years are at the University of Lagos.

Grace obtained B.Ed degree, Physical & Health Education (ABU Zaria); M.Ed and PhD, Exercise Physiology (UI, Ibadan). Grace Otinwa attended training at Soochow University China; and, received other trainings in leadership as organized by: Kennesaw State University, USA & UNILAG; ISO 9001: 2015 QMS Lead Auditor Course in Service Delivery, Kenya and Women for Africa (Spain) Leadership in a Technological Era for Female Professors in UNILAG at Imperial College and Cranfield University, UK respectively.

Her education, experience, and exposure throughout her personal and professional life have helped to hone her skills in strategic management, educational development, and leadership, which are invaluable for academic leadership.

Within this period, Grace has taught various undergraduate and postgraduate courses, conducted and supervised undergraduate research projects; master projects, and Ph.D theses while others are in progress.

She has several publications to her credit: published lectures, authored/ co-authored books, contributed chapters in others, and published articles in national and international journals.She has rendered consulting services; attended and delivered many international and national presentations and papers in different countries.
